Mr. Gilden currently heads
the Regency Division of Biddle Street Catering. His multi-talented
career is shown by his skills as an Executive Chef/Gardmanger
and culinary expert.
Mike graduated from the
University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. From
there, he was accepted into the Culinary Institute of America
where he graduated in 1969 with honors, receiving his Cordon
Bleu from this world renowned chef training school.
And for the next 26 years,
Mike owned and operated Regency Terrace, Inc., a large on
and off premise upscale catering company. In 1995, Regency
Terrace merged with Biddle Street Catering and Events. Mr.
Gilden became Executive Chef, Director of Operations and
head of Biddle Street's Regency Division.
Most recently, in May
of 1997, Mike studied at La Botegga Del 30 in the Chianti
region of Tuscany, Italy where he developed new and dynamic
culinary preparations.
With Mike's background
and depth of experience, he has helped to steer the current
progressive surge of Biddle Street Catering and Events.
